The Common Thread
Last year’s launch of our global Inclusion & Diversity strategy was a milestone moment for Kontoor. We are still a relatively new company, so we’ve had our share of “firsts” – but this one was especially meaningful for us.
Inclusion & Diversity are a central part of who we are and who we aspire to be at Kontoor. They are integral to our purpose to be the common thread that inspires people to live with passion and confidence. And they are foundational to our success.
For all of these reasons, transparency is a must. We owe it to ourselves, and to all of our stakeholders, to be candid both about the gains we’re achieving and the improvements we still need to make.
So today, I’m pleased to share another milestone – our first Inclusion & Diversity progress report. The report is organized around our four priority areas: Workplace Belonging, Workforce Diversity, Marketplace Equity and Sustainability & Accountability. Each of our more than 14,000 associates had a hand in shaping it.
We are one team at Kontoor. We take care of one another. And, we win together.
