Scott Baxter

President, Chief Executive Officer & Chair of the Board

Scott Baxter is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Kontoor. He has served on the Board since the Spin-Off and as Chair of the Board since August 2021. Mr. Baxter was named CEO in August 2018 when VF announced its intention to separate its Jeanswear organization into an independent, publicly traded company. Mr. Baxter has more than 30 years of experience in retail, operations, marketing, merchandising, sales and manufacturing, including extensive executive leadership experience.

Prior to being named CEO of Kontoor, Mr. Baxter was Group President, Americas West, for VF. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing brands such as The North Face® and Vans®.

Mr. Baxter’s previous leadership roles at VF also included Group President, Outdoor & Action Sports, Americas and Vice President, VF Corporation & Group President, Jeanswear, Imagewear and South America. Mr. Baxter joined VF in 2007 as the President of the Licensed Sports Group. In 2008, he was named Coalition President for the Imagewear coalition, which comprised the Image and Licensed Sports Group divisions.

Prior to joining VF, Mr. Baxter served as Senior Vice President of The Home Depot Company, leading the Services Division. He also previously served as Executive Vice President of Edward Don & Company and held a series of leadership roles with Nestle and PepsiCo.

Mr. Baxter serves on the board of directors for Lowe’s, one of the largest home improvement retailers in the world, and Callaway Golf Company, a premium golf equipment and active lifestyle company. An active member of the community, Mr. Baxter is on the board of directors for the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and the Piedmont Triad Partnership.

Mr. Baxter holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Rustin Welton

EVP, Chief Financial Officer

Rustin Welton is EVP, Chief Financial Officer for Kontoor Brands, Inc. In this role, Welton has primary responsibility for financial planning, analysis and management, accounting, investor relations, tax, treasury, internal audit and information technology.

Prior to his appointment to CFO of Kontoor Brands in 2019, Welton served as Group CFO for VF Corporation’s Jeanswear, Workwear, Sportswear, Timberland® and VF Outlet businesses, and CFO, Jeanswear, Imagewear and VF Outlet for Central and South America. Welton joined VF in June 2012 as Vice President and CFO for Jeanswear Americas.

Prior to joining VF, he served in financial leadership roles with Newell Rubbermaid, Electrolux, Fisher Scientific International and Eli Lilly.

Welton holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Chris Waldeck

Chris Waldeck is EVP, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Global Brand President, Lee®. Waldeck is responsible for the brand’s global business, including marketing, sales and distribution.

Prior to joining Kontoor Brands in 2019, Waldeck was President, Lee® and Rock & Republic®, North America for VF Corporation, where he managed the U.S. business for the brands. Before joining VF, Waldeck was with the Adidas Group as Vice President, General Manager for the Reebok brand, and was responsible for brand marketing, merchandising, public relations, finance and operations, while leading a growth platform across wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels.

Waldeck also held various roles with increasing responsibility at Cramer Products Inc. and Spalding Sports. He began his career at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes.

Waldeck holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Emporia State University.

Tom Waldron

Tom Waldron is EVP, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Global Brand President - Wrangler®. Waldron is responsible for the brand’s global business, including marketing, sales and distribution.

Prior to joining Kontoor Brands in 2019, Waldron was President, Wrangler® and Riders by Lee®, North America for VF Corporation. Prior to that role, he was Vice President of Mass Brands and held various roles of increasing responsibility in merchandising, sales and operations.

Prior to joining VF in 1995, Waldron began his career with the Kmart Corporation, working in operations and buying across a number of categories.

Waldron earned a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business.

Mame Annan-Brown

Mame Annan-Brown

EVP, Global Communications & Public Affairs, President, Kontoor Brands Foundation

Mame is EVP, Global Communications, Public Affairs & ESG for Kontoor Brands, Inc. Mame has responsibility for all aspects of global corporate communications, public affairs and ESG strategy. This includes oversight of internal and external communications, message development, media relations, owned and digital content creation. She leads government affairs strategies to achieve positive outcomes, developing Kontoor’s position on key legislative and regulatory issues. She leads integration of Kontoor’s global ESG efforts, spearheading strategy, integration, reporting and engagement across the company and chairs Kontoor's ESG Council. Additionally, Mame serves as President of the Kontoor Brands Foundation.

Prior to Kontoor, Mame was Head of External Relations at International Finance Corporation (IFC) and was responsible for managing IFC’s global external communications. Prior to IFC, Mame was Head of Communications at IFC Asset Management Company (AMC) where she led the institution’s marketing and public relations, branding, media, and strategic outreach. Prior to AMC, Mame was Chief Communications Officer at Results for Development Institute, and Director of Marketing at United to End Genocide, the largest grassroots advocacy organization in the US that led the historic movement to demand an end to genocide in Darfur.

Mame also spent 10 years on Wall Street as Vice President in J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank. She developed communications strategies for business heads and executives, particularly during the 2008 global financial crisis and the J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns merger and acquisition. Mame also led the Investment Bank's global employee volunteerism and charitable giving program.

Mame holds a BA in Economics from McGill University and received a Masters in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). An active member in the community, Mame is on the Board of Directors for the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and Get In The Game.

Tammy Heller

Tammy Heller

EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Tammy Heller is EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer for Kontoor Brands, Inc. Heller leads global human resources functions across Kontoor’s organization, including compensation, benefits, HR systems, recruitment, onboarding, training and retention programs, Inclusion and Diversity and talent management and development.

Heller has more than 20 years of human resources and governance leadership experience. Prior to joining Kontoor Brands in 2021, Heller served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President at Perspecta, where she helped build a new HR department after the company’s merger. She has also served in senior human resources roles at CGI, Capital One, Freddie Mac and BearingPoint.

Heller earned her bachelor’s degree in American government and rhetoric and communications studies from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Marymount University. She was awarded the WashingtonExec’s Chief Officer Award for Public Company Chief Human Resources Officer in 2020.

EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Tom Doerr is EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for Kontoor Brands, Inc. Doerr oversees fundamental legal and business functions such as compliance, legal strategy, issues identification, crisis management and global trademarks and intellectual property oversight. Doerr also serves as counsel to the Board of Directors.

Doerr has more than 20 years of experience in compliance, litigation, risk management and other corporate matters for global, publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Kontoor Brands in 2022, Doerr served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary and Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at The Manitowoc Company, Inc. He also served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Jason Industries, Inc. and Associate General Counsel at The Manitowoc Company, Inc.

Doerr earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and his law degree from the Marquette University Law School.
